Does anyone no if their is any fruit picking places in the area.Also any pubs with beer gardens and play area etc for children in keswick and the surrounding areas.

There is fruit picking over in the Eden Valley, the other side of Penrith. The only picking around here are wild blueberries and blackberries.

I don't recall seeing a pub with a play area; as most pubs have turned into restaurants I don't use them much now. I like the beer garden at the Coledale Inn in Braithwaite. A good view from there and grass for children to play on.

There is a fruit picking farm not far from Lazonby, to the north of Penrith.
