Hot air balloon

Does anyone know if this is available in the lake district or how much it would cost?

There are a couple of ballon operators, see high-adventure.co.uk (can't get into their site at the moment) and blownaway.co.uk where the quoted price is £175

There used to be flights here in the North Lakes but have not seen any for some years. I remember about 10 yrs ago I was walking our dog on Castlehead and watched a balloon floating over Bassenthwaite Lake. Suddenly the burners lit up with an enormous roar and the ballon seemed to climb very rapidly. A few moments later a fast jet flew over Bass - below the balloon!
