paragliding, horseback riding

I have searched the web for paragliding and hang-gliding facilities in the Lake District. I was excited to find this website, which states that there is plenty of things to do in Keswick such as gliding and horseback riding, however, I cannot seem to get more info on further details regarding the location, costs, etc for partaking in these activities.

A friend and I plan to visit the lake district in a few weeks (early May) and would be very grateful if someone could give us more information regarding these activities. Thanks

I agree it is difficult to track down information about many of the activities here. These are some pointers.

Escape are based in Keswick and provide paragliding services. They are on 017687 71442

Air Ventures Paragliding used to run from the Keswick Climbing Wall - and may still do. The Climbing Wall is on 017687 72899

For horse riding there is Rookin House Farm or the Low Riding Centre

There are probably more - a call to the tourist information centre in Keswick should reveal more!
