Outdoor pursuits centre for children

We want to visit the Lake District but to give our teenage children a break from walking with us we would like to find an outdoor pursuit centre they could join in with for a couple of days to meet other kids, go climbing or other activity.
Does anyone know any we could try?

I'm not really sure if there is an outdoor persuit centre where your kids could be left with a group of other kids. There are plenty of centres which offer activities but I'm sure you would have to be there to supervise.
