What's there to do for Infants
Big Grin Hi, we're coming to Keswick at the end of February and I wondered whether anyone had any goods suggestions of things to do and places to visit with small children, I have found the Trotters Animal Park near Cockermouth.
Thanks

Many years ago I used to holiday here in the Lakes with young children, and from the age of about 3 they used to enjoy walking (and being carried) over the fells and along the valleys. They would spend hours just playing in a shallow beck, moving rocks, building dams and so on. Now they are grown up, they still enjoy the outdoor life.

But it may be a little cold for padding at the end of this month!

Other activities they will enjoy are the Pencil Museum in Keswick (good for people of any age) and taking the launch around Derwentwater, a great way to see the lake and surrounding fells. The Whinlatter Forest visitor centre has a short exploration walk for children, too. And they can also go into a mole hill!
