holiday cancelled

I booked a holiday with a local company. They asked for a cheque for £320 which I sent. They then sent my check back saying that I was banned from the premises. I have asked for the reasons but have received no adequate response. Where does this leave my 7 year old daughter to whom I had promised the holiday.

At least you got your money back to spend on an alternative holiday.

Obviously I dont know the type of accomodation planned or the reasons for your booking not being accepted, but there is a lot of places to stay on the local website at <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.keswick.org/home.asp">http://www.keswick.org/home.asp</a><!-- m --> and its probably not too late to find an alternative.

Thanks for the friendly response. I've been to Keswick many times and have always been made to feel at home by local people. I think it's a great place and won't allow a single company to sour my image of a great town with lovely people.
