Chief, that sounds like a good and safe way to get an introduction to walking in this area. Of course in Keswick during the Easter to November season we do have daily guided rambles from the Moot Hall ( <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.keswickrambles.co.uk">http://www.keswickrambles.co.uk</a><!-- m --> ) which are always popular.
It is good to get out and about on two feet! And a knowledgeable guide can make it that much more enjoyable. |
