fishing in keswick

Mid april, I come from norway. Any good spots for angling carp nearby Keswick?

My wife and I went up to a beautiful creek above Keswick and then stopped at Keswick. I was wondering if you got any response to your question or if you found out from any locals. I'm curious about going up there and fishing but unsure if (and what) there are any fish? And if so what type of fish are there and what the most effective type of fishing method is. If you have any help, it would be much appreciated.

Not sure if this is any help (I know nothing about fishing), but I saw guy fishing at the north edge of the lake, so there must be something there...
