Is there tennis?
Hope someone can answer this.

We are planning a weeks holiday in Keswick during June (after Wimbledon). Obviously B&Bs don't have tennis courts. Can someone tell me if any of the hotels have tennis courts or are there some public courts to play on? We prefer grass and like to play at least every other day.

Thanks in advance.

Tennis
Hi Mick
You'll just love Keswick!!!! There are tennis courts in the local park (Fitz Park) which I believe are to a average/good standard. The only hotel I can think of that has courts is the Hilton in Lodore/Borrowdale..... It's pricey but in beautiful surroundings (there is also a fantastic farm cafe beside it - High Lodore Farm - the cream scones are highly recommended!!!!!!

Fitz Park has both 'club' and 'public' courts, the public courts are 3 grass and 3 shale. Ladore Hotell has 1 all-weather court. Braithwaite has 1 tarmac and 3 grass (opposite the village, behind the Istitute.) Lorton has 3 all-weather courts (next to the school.)

Hope this helps
