Ewbank SUrname
Hi, I am rearching family history. My great grandmother, Mary Jane Ewbank was born in Keswick around 1850 and married John Rothery.
Anyone in the Keswick area related to Mary Jane? Thanks Evelyn Bower |

I had a look in the phone book for the two names. There are no Ewbanks listed for Keswick, but quite a few for the Appleby/Eden Valley area. Similarly there are no Rotherys listed for Keswick, but there are a lot for the Whitehaven & west coastal area.
Good luck with the research. |

Stepsister Hannah E D Ewbank married a Wm Henry Longrigg. The other, Margaret D married James Campbell Watson. I have been searching for quite a while for these families I thought they must have all emigrated. Margaret, my GGM moved down to Shildon in late 1850's and that is where I am now. Please don't hesitate to contact. I have loads of Ewbank info if you require. |

Hello Den. Thank you for getting in touch - it's great to find someone of the same Ewbank family at last.
I'll review my information and write back to you. Regards. Evelyn |
