Any ideas for out of the way camp sites for the bank holiday weekend?

Prefer quiet, but not too far from a pub.

A couple of years ag we camped at Ashness, where it was a reasonable walk to the Lodore Hotel (not a pub, but they do have beer and serve good food).

Before that we stayed in Braithwaite (can't remember the name of the site but its just off the A66) and the Royal Oak was only 100 yards or so away, but we went up to the Coledale which was only a little further because the crack was better.

A mate camped in Stonethwaite a couple of months ago but the pub there is closed at night so he had to make do with 4 packs bought in Keswick.
