What's happening to buses?

I see in another thread that some buses have been withdrawn. Is there an update on this as I enjoy travelling around the Lakers on public transport, and I have a bus pass.

Jim, unfortunately the summer timetables have not yet been published, but it looks like the only significant change is the withdrawal of the Osprey Bus, which ran weekends and scholl holidays, April to August. The grant that paid for the bus ran out last year - it only ever was a time limited grant.

Otherwise it looks like transport as usual! You can use your bus pass 9:30am to 11pm, Monday to Friday and any time at weekends.

Thanks for that information. That means I can come to Keswick for a week, leave my car in the B&B/guest house car park ans spend a week exploring while someone else does the driving.
