Wedding............

Hello,

I am getting married next year on the 19th of september. We are getting married in Crosthwaite church, followed by a cruise on the lake. Planning everything went very well....so far.....
We are finding it very hard to find a venue for the wedding reception. We would prefer a location where we are allowed to setup a marquee, but searching the internet for hours did not give us a solution.....
Does anyone know a place in Keswick, or within 5 miles, where we can have a brilliant wedding reception?? We prefer a location where the guests can go outside as well. So either garden, or marquee will do....

I am really hoping I will get some suggestions to make my day perfect!

It is not clear if you are looking for a hotel with lawn for a marquee or some other place such as a village hall with attached field, like the Braithwaite Institute with its cricket field?

The Derwentwater Hotel in Portinscale is worth a look, it's only a short walk from Keswick and in fantastic surroundings. I have stayed next door several times, but friends of mine have visited on various occasions and can't speak highy enough of it. It is set in 16 acres of grounds, so there must be room for some sort of marque.
