PUB WITH A VIEW

I will be visiting Keswick in August, can anyone tell me of a pub with great views, preferably where you can sit outside. I dont mind walking a mile or 2. Cheers Jacka

Yes, you will have to walk a couple of miles. I like the Middle Ruddings at Braithwaite, where you can sit outside the conservatory and look across to Skiddaw. My partner reckons the beer there is the best in the area!

The Coledale Inn at Braithwaite is on a hill & the beer garden has good views. Otherwise you can sit outside the Swinside Inn - at Swinside. It is a car park but the views are good.
