Wacky House in Millbeck
Had a stroll throught millbeck at the weekend. Does anyone know the history of the amazing scottish castle inspired house just behind the village hall? Should have asked someone then and there. It's an incredible looking place and would I love to know more about it. Many thanks. J

I wonder if you mean Millbeck Towers, which is owned by the National Trust and available as a self catering "cottage"? There is a pic in this Guardian article.

Yes that's it ! many thanks; the most unlikely mill i have ever seen. I'm trying to to get a date on it, but the internet is proving pretty useless. Do you have any idea where i could find out more about the history of the place?
