looking for restored 2 wheel stone mill
can anyone help me find reference to restored stone mill with 2 water wheels and distinctive 3 section adjoined buildibg in Keswick, Cumberland area? I can't find the newspaper story or pictures but believe it was opened after restoration about 10 yrs ago. Need quick reply. Thanks. rsz

I have thought about this and cannot recall a 2 wheel mill being restored in the immediate Keswick area over the last 15 years.
I wonder if you mean the Little Salkeld Mill in the Eden Valley about 25 miles away from Keswick? This is working today and producing flour. The only other twin wheeled mill I know of is the Muncaster Mill, but that is even further away. There is a 3 wheel mill at Acorn Bank near Penrith.
