Annual Festivals in Keswick for 2012
The 12th Keswick Film Festival took place in February. There are Keswick Fiml Club presentations throught the year. Next festival is 21st - 24th February 2013 - see www.keswickfilmfestival.org
The Words by the Water Literary Festival 2012 was held in March at the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick and was an outstanding success. Check www.wayswithwords.co.uk in January for the program of the next festival to be held 1 – 10 March 2013
The 21st Keswick Jazz Festival was held Thursday 3 May - Sunday 6 May. News of next year's festival will be posted on www.keswickjazzfestival.co.uk
The 7th Keswick Mountain Festival, 16 - 26 May 2012.
With a program designed to appeal to all who love the Lake District and great mountain scenery worldwide, the Cumberland Ale Keswick Mountain Festival offered many activites and a choice of walks led by experienced leaders. There was an exciting series of talks from leading mountaineers and outdoor personalities at the Rawnsley Centre, Main Street, Keswick.

The 16th Keswick Beer Festival sponsored by Lancashire brewer Daniel Thwaites' Wainwright took place on Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd June 2012. Good beers, good ciders, good weather and good entertainment were enjoyed by mearly 6,000 people! Tickets for next year will go on sale in December - see www.keswickbeerfestival.co.uk

A Steam Gala is to be held at the Threlkeld Quarry & Mining Museum, where there will be four special visiting steam locomotives, on the weekend of 28th and 29th July. More info.
